Bookkeeping/Write Up - Compensation: depends on exp in Jackson, Alabama

This position is full time, but with the right person and the right experience part time/job sharing may be an option. The person must be a self starter and motivated to keep deadlines.
Tasks include AP, preparation of financial statements, payroll and related tax payments and reporting, including quarterly reports such as 941s and MDES reports and year end W-2s, xxxxs, etc. Must have payroll experience and be familiar with tax deposits and online filings, etc. Also, must be familiar with Sales Tax reporting.
This position juggles many clients at once so they must be able to prioritize and keep deadlines.
Ideally this person would have experience with Quickbooks accounting software and Peachtree familiarity would be a plus. Degree not necessary, but may also be a plus.
